Chi Delta Alpha’s Spring 2008 Pledge Class!

What is XDA?

Chi Delta Alpha is a non-greek, service sorority focused on dedication to the community with a touch of sisterhood. It is the only all women service sorority anywhere in the United States!

We have two main events to introduce interested women to our organization.

Open House:

.Open House is Chi Delta Alpha’s primer pledge event held at the end of the fall semester.

All female students enrolled at Virginia Tech are invited to attend.

Pledge Tea:

Pledge Tea is a Chi Delta Alpha tradition and is held at the beginning of the Spring Semester.

Requirements

  • 2.3 Overall QCA
  • A Heart for Service
  • Desire to meet and share with others a common goal
  • Dedication to community service and the sorority

Activities

  • Minimum of 15 community service hours completed on projects with sisters.
  • Interview every active sister
  • Pledge/sister social
  • Participate in a Pledge Retreat
  • Plan a Pledge fundraiser and service project
  • Attend every pledge meeting and 2 sister meetings
  • Vote to give a gift to the sorority
  • Big/Little Sister social
